Pomerania and Southwest Finland share a strong maritime heritage and face similar opportunities and challenges in the Baltic region. Building on this common potential, Navigate with Pomerania 2026 will bring together companies, research institutions, and maritime stakeholders from both countries to foster practical cooperation and long-term partnerships.

In Finland, the maritime sector has been recording record-high order levels for many years, and as a result, additional production capacity is required. The event will provide a unique platform for networking, B2B meetings, workshops and discussions focused on strengthening Finnish–Polish economic cooperation and developing joint research and innovation projects.

We are pleased to invite Finnish and Polish companies, maritime organizations, research institutions, and innovation stakeholders to participate in Navigate with Pomerania 2026an international networking event taking place on 7–8 October 2026 in Gdynia, Poland.

Key objectives:

• Strengthen business cooperation between Poland and Finland, particularly within the maritime, shipbuilding, offshore, port, logistics, and marine technology sectors.
• • Identify areas where Finnish and Polish competencies can complement each other and create added value for the Baltic maritime economy .
• Develop academic and R&D cooperation, including the creation of international consortia and joint applications for European research and innovation funding programmes.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange between industry leaders, research institutions, clusters, and public-sector stakeholders.
